Bucky is a well broke 7 year old buckskin mule. He is pretty as a picture with his tiger-striped legs. This 2 year old bay mule "Gideon" has come a long way! We bought him when he was 7 months old. At that point he had not been handled by people. He is from a Mustang mare and a Mammoth Jack. After he arrived back at the ranch, we began to work with him slowly, and he was a super quick learner. His trust for us started the very next day... within a week he was halter broke, and each day we saw improvement. Our farrier trims his hooves every 6 weeks; we trim him with the electric clippers; wash him with a hose, have place blankets and saddles on him; loves his ears scratched and lots of attention. He is basically a big baby. We hope he will go to a good home, that will love him and continue his training until he is ready to ride! He is about 14 hands and gelded. Will consider trades. Precious: 2008 gaited Molly, 13 hands, out of a spotted saddle horse and gaited jack of Shelbyville, TN. She is brown and white, halter broke, some ground work, stands for farrier and shots, good about ears, good sized feet, easy to catch. Precious has a really loose walk. Rosie is a young Percheron Molly Mule. She stands 16.2 1/2" to be exact. She has been owned and well started by a professional natural horseman (with a top ten world placing mule to his credit). Rosie has had extensive ground work and is solid w/t/c with leads. She is responsive under saddle with leg yields, side passes, shoulder in/out, turn on fore/rear etc. She also loves to free jump! Rosie is ready to finish her training and gain more exposure. She would make an awesome riding mount but could also be trained to drive easily. Jim wouldn't part with Rosie except that with rotater-cuff surgery she's a bit tall to pull up onto....looking for a special home that will match up with Rosie for a successful lifelong relationship with a really special mule! Though Rosie is very sweet, smart and well started...considering her size that she still need some more exposure etc....she would be best for an intermediate rider and someone with some mule knowledge. $3000 obo Delivery is available nationwide.
